Paint correction is the process of removing defects such as swirls, scratches, etching, oxidation, and marring by carefully levelling the vehicle's clear coat. This restores depth and clarity while leaving the paint with an incredible gloss.

Your vehicle’s paint faces daily wear and tear, and only compounding and polishing can undo the damage. Some common causes include:

• Improper washing techniques

• Etching from bird droppings/chemicals

• Road tar/grime or industrial fallout

• Brushing up against the vehicle with fingers, keys, clothing

Removing paint defects requires carefully levelling the clear coat—but the process starts well before that. Before any polishing or compounding, the paint must be properly prepared by removing surface contaminants like tar and road grime. We also tape off sensitive areas such as trim and plastics to protect them.
